Integrated training methodology for developing technical and tactical skills in football players at the preliminary basic training stage

This article explores the effectiveness of stage-based training for football players at the preliminary basic training stage, specifically in the formation and development of their technical and tactical skills. Modern training approaches are examined, including the method of combined influence and the traditional segmented methodology. The combined influence methodology integrates physical and technical-tactical exercises, allowing the simultaneous development of fundamental sports skills and their rapid adaptation to game conditions. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the relevance of a stage-based development of skills and technical abilities in football players during the preliminary basic training stage. The object of the study is the training process for football players at this preparatory stage, while the subject of the study focuses on the indicators of physical fitness of players at this level. Research methods include analysis and synthesis of specialized literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics. Study Organization and Methods: Fifty football players at the preliminary basic training stage participated in the training experiment. Research Results. Comparing the results of the experimental and control groups demonstrates the advantages of this approach, as it contributes to accelerated development of specific skills, as well as improved coordination and speed-strength characteristics among the athletes. The experimental results showed that football players trained with the combined influence methodology performed significantly better in executing technical maneuvers such as dribbling, ball stopping, passing, and shooting at the goal, and generally managed game functions more effectively. There was a 30% to 50% increase in performance indicators compared to the control group, which supports the efficacy of the integrated approach in training young athletes. Conclusions. The study's findings confirm that applying a stage-based, integrated approach to training football players is an essential condition for ensuring consistent athletic progress at the basic training stage. This methodology promotes the harmonious development of technical, physical, and tactical skills, enhances coordination, speed-strength qualities, and players’ adaptability in competitive activities.

Abstract

This methodology promotes the harmonious development of technical, physical, and tactical skills, enhances coordination, speed-strength qualities, and players’ adaptability in competitive activities.
