Formation of foreign language communicative competence by means of museum pedagogy in the process of teaching English in secondary schools in the context of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard

The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally prove the effectiveness of using the forms and means of museum pedagogy for the formation of foreign language communicative competence in English lessons in grade 5 in secondary schools in the context of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard. The article analyzes and substantiates the possibilities of using the forms and means of museum pedagogy to achieve the key objective result of the educational subject “Foreign language” – the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. The scientific novelty of the research lies in clarifying the essence of museum pedagogy in teaching a foreign language, in analyzing and systematizing the forms, methods and means of museum pedagogy in the process of teaching a foreign language. As a result, it is proved that the use of forms and means of museum pedagogy in English lessons makes it possible to form all the sub-competences of foreign language communicative competence.
