The inclusion of the ethnocultural heritage of the peoples of Russia in the educational process of modern schools for the formation of students' citizenship
The purpose of this article is to consider various forms of inclusion of the ethnocultural heritage of the peoples of Russia in the educational process of secondary schools in order to form citizenship among students of middle and senior school age. In the article, the authors propose to expand the range of subjects of the educational process and forms of work with schoolchildren based on the ethno-cultural heritage. The scientific novelty consists in determining effective and currently relevant forms of work with schoolchildren to study and master the ethnocultural heritage of the peoples of Russia in the process of interaction with national cultural organizations, participation in historical and ethnographic expeditions, work in museums of educational organizations, etc. The proposed forms of work are based on the long-term experience of the Altai State Pedagogical University with schoolchildren and students of the Altai Territory. As a result of the research, it was determined that the ethnocultural heritage of the peoples of Russia is important for the educational process of modern schools. It is crucial in the transmission of traditional spiritual and moral values, the formation of positive interethnic relations and, in general, citizenship. The use of proven and methodically provided forms of work with ethno–cultural heritage will contribute, on the one hand, to the successful implementation of the tasks of educational organizations, on the other – to the preservation and transmission of heritage, the establishment of intergenerational communication.
