Controlled physical activity as a prerequisite for the development of cognitive functions (using the example of PSM futsal groups)
It is well known that in game sports, in particular in futsal, the ability to maintain maximum concentration on key matches until the end of the game is invaluable. Analyzing unsuccessful team performances, practicing coaches note that players lose concentration for a moment at critical moments, which often leads to defeat by opponents. The ability to focus on the most relevant signals from the environment is fundamental to achieving effective work. Using the example of exercises, we tried to define cognitive efficiency as the performance of mental processes related to perception, memory, intelligence and action. When performing the task, the players over time began to adjust to changes, while remaining focused, making decisions in a matter of seconds and adapting to the tasks of the exercise. The improvement in the level of training occurred against the background of regular training with clear performance of tasks for attention. Based on the results, which did not deteriorate after increasing the time to perform the exercise, we were able to improve the level of attention, which will allow young football players to demonstrate better responses to tactical actions at the competitive level when optimizing the training process.
