Study on the Changing Patterns of Joseoneo Textbooks Published in China
This study seeks to trace the historical evolution of Korean language textbooks (Joseoneo) published in China. A total of seven textbooks, published between 1945 and the present, were selected for analysis, following the developmental stages of Joseoneo education. The analysis was conducted based on both external and internal structures. Externally, the most prominent alteration noted was the illustrations and the translation prompts in the textbooks published in 2022. Internally, textbook units have become increasingly rich in content, with themes that are more reflective of daily life and a broader range of learning activities. And as time goes by, the difficulty of grammar and vocabulary has decreased, and they have gradually become more life-oriented and practical.
