Quantifying the prospect of a visible-light-absorbing oxysulfide photocatalyst by probing transient absorption and photoluminescence
Transient optical spectroscopies reveal the distinct decay features of photogenerated electrons and holes of the Gd 2 Ti 2 O 5 S 2 photocatalyst. Optimization strategies and existing bottlenecks are discussed to enhance hydrogen production efficiency.
