Otizm Spektrum Bozukluğunun Tedavisinde Yapay Zeka Destekli Uygulamaların Etkisi Üzerine Bir Derleme

The purpose of this review is to examine the effectiveness of artificial intelligence-supported applications on ASD by conducting a literature review on the use of artificial intelligence-supported applications in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and to make recommendations on the subject. When studies on the effects of artificial intelligence-supported applications on the treatment process of individuals with ASD are considered, it is seen that they are more effective in gaining various life skills necessary for the development of these individuals. It is seen that artificial intelligence-supported wearable behavioral interventions, tablet-based applications and humanoid robots contribute to the development of social, emotional and communication skills of children with autism, and are effective in establishing eye contact, recognizing facial expressions and developing joint attention. However, in order for artificial intelligence-supported applications to become more widely applicable in the treatment of ASD, it is recommended that more evidence-based randomized controlled studies be conducted to verify the effectiveness of artificial intelligence applications in the treatment of ASD and to make them suitable for general use. Keywords: autism spectrum disorder, artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence-supported applications
