Pensamiento Crítico en Estudiantes de Bachillerato: Una Aproximación desde las Inteligencias Artificiales

This paper explored the impact of the use of artificial intelligence on the development of critical thinking skills in high school students. It was hypothesized that the use of this tool can have a positive effect on cognitive abilities. For this purpose, a mixed approach was used to examine how interaction with AI affects the teaching-learning process in a diverse educational environment. The theoretical framework established the growing relevance of AI in the transformation of education. The methodology detailed the quasi-experimental design, the selection of a diverse sample, and the quantitative and qualitative instruments for data collection. The findings provided an in-depth understanding of how participants use AI tools in their learning and their perception of impact. The mixed analysis highlighted trends in AI use and its relationship to cognitive skill development. This paper seeks to contribute to knowledge about the impact of AI on critical thinking, hoping that it will serve as a starting point for improving educational practices in an increasingly digitized context.
