Pan-africanismo, renascimento africano e a construção da arquitetura econômica e financeira Africana

The article proposes to conceptualize the African Economic and Financial Architecture (AEFA), discussing its main characteristics. To this end, the research will consist of three specific objectives, namely, to analyze the genesis of AEFA and the importance of Pan-Africanism in this process; to understand the transformation of AEFA generated by the African Renaissance and; to highlight the main actors and themes of this architecture. Based on primary and secondary sources, we seek to discuss the hypothesis that the misalignment between African interests in relation to traditional and emerging powers has been leading to changes in AEFA. First, because African countries began to seek to strengthen ties with emerging countries, particularly China. Secondly, and just as important, because African countries are also intensifying their desire to broaden the continent's autonomy in the face of transformations in the international system.
