Development and characterization of fuel cell electrodes made of oxides polymetallic
This study deals with the synthesis and investigation of the substitution effect on the structure of some manganites such as perovskites. The synthesis of these materials is achieved by the sol-gel process, their characterization is determined by different methods :X-ray diffraction; FTIR spectroscopy, laser granulometry) that allow to follow the effect of substitution on the different properties X-ray diffraction to confirm the formation of the perovskite phase. Fourier transform infrared; show that the orthorhombic phase was obtained at 900 °C. The laser granulometry measurements confirm that the increase in average diameter is related to the increase in calcium. The electrochemical measurements show that the catalytic activity is influenced by the calcium doping, that the electrode with 40% calcium has a higher electroactivity.
