O DIAGNÓSTICO DIFERENCIAL DE NEOPLASIAS ATRAVÉS DA ECOENDOSCOPIA DIGESTIVA
This innovative diagnostic technique known as ultrasound endoscopy, which offers a more accurate internal examination of the body, is particularly useful in identifying problems such as pancreatic cancer and acute pancreatitis. It combines endoscopic methods with ultrasound capabilities to visualize internal structures throughout the stomach. This dual capability allows for improved diagnosis of conditions such as esophageal and gastric cancer, as well as the potential to perform aspiration biopsies to determine the nature of pancreatic nodules. The examination process is similar to that of a conventional endoscopy, although some cases may require sedation. Overall, endoscopic ultrasound represents a significant advance in the accurate diagnosis of gastrointestinal problems.
