Life career of Dmitry Nalivkin – through XX century alongwith geology

The article considers the life of Dmitry Nalivkin from the point of view of his formation as a leading geologist of the USSR. The author's justification of the historical conditions influencing him and the main events of his life presented in it. Some episodes of his memoirs from the field of professional activity are given. In the illustrative series, some documents from the collection of the Mining Museum and the archive of the Mining University are demonstrated for the first time.
