A <scp>5G LAN</scp> Testbed for Hybrid Industrial <scp>IoT</scp> Scenarios
ABSTRACT In this paper, we describe the conception and implementation of a high‐fidelity 5G testbed for 5G Local Area Networks (LANs). This testbed comprises a combination of real, emulated and virtualized components that enable R&D activities such as exploring use cases, integrating components, and infrastructure management. This environment has undergone an experimental assessment of its functional characteristics and performance, using an Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem over 5G.
