<scp>CeJAZ3</scp> suppresses longifolene accumulation in <i>Casuarina equisetifolia</i>, affecting the host preference of <i>Anoplophora chinensis</i>
We confirmed that the negative regulator of host preference, CeJAZ3, in the JA signaling pathway can suppress the expression of TPSs, thereby down-regulating the accumulation of longifolene in Casuarina equisetifolia and indirectly suppressing the attraction of host plants to A. chinensis, which provides a basis for the integrated management of A. chinensis. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry.
