Analyzing Spatial Consistency and Human Blockage in mmWave Channel Modeling within Metrorail Scenarios in Next Generation Networks
The advent of 5G technology promises transformative capabilities to meet the escalating demands of modern connectivity. Among its key enablers, millimeter-wave (mmWave) spectrum stands out for its potential to deliver unprecedented data speeds and capacity. Integrating mmWave technology into 5G networks presents unique challenges and opportunities, particularly in complex urban environments such as metro rail scenarios. Channel modeling plays a pivotal role in understanding signal propagation dynamics within these environments, guiding the design and optimization of next-generation networks. This study investigates spatial consistency and human blockage effects in mmWave channel modeling within metro rail settings, employing advanced simulation techniques to shed light on the intricacies of signal propagation and system performance. The findings offer valuable insights for enhancing mmWave integration in 5G networks, paving the way for efficient and reliable connectivity in urban transit environments.
