Two Stage Solar PV Generation using Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Control Technique
This paper introduces a Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Control scheme to regulate a photovoltaic generation system's DC-DC boost converter and single-phase inverter under varying conditions. The proposed method addresses chattering, overshoot, and transient response issues in voltage regulation. Mathematical analyses evaluate its impact on settling time, overshoot, and noise reduction. Maximum Power Point Tracking control ensures efficient operation. Comparative analysis with conventional sliding mode and proportional-integral controllers demonstrates superior performance in transient response, overshoot, settling time, and noise rejection.
