한국판 정서유형 척도(K-ESQ) 타당화를 위한 예비연구
The purpose of this study is to validate the Korean version of the emotional style scale developed by Kesebir et al. (2019). The Korean version of the K-ESQ was proposed through translation and back-translation of the original ESQ scale (Kesebir et al., 2019), and a five-factor structure consisting of outlook/resilience, self-awareness, social intuition, sensitivity to context, and attention was extracted through factor analysis. In addition, the results of the criterion validity test showed significant correlations with the resilience scale (r=.78, p<.001), the Korean version of the mindfulness awareness scale (r=.65, p<.001), the attention control scale (r=.45, p<.001), and the depression, anxiety, and stress scale (r=-.53, p<.001). It can be useful when understanding the construct of emotional style and taking a personal emotional approach through emotional style. Future research will need to specifically identify the cultural characteristics of the items.
