The article shows that the application of the provisions of the theory of diplomacy and intelligence in relation to the conditions of hybrid warfare requires a creative approach. Taking into account the complex, complex type of hybrid military conflict and a number of specific factors inherent in it, theoretical provisions cannot be applied in all cases with a certain degree of automatism and guaranteed the same outcome as the laws of natural sciences.
