Study of the process of catalytic oxidation of a mixture of naphthene-paraffin hydrocarbons isolated from oil distillate of T-46

The article presents deromatization of oil distillate T-46 of Azerbaijan oil mixture by sulfonation method, preparation of naphthene-paraffin hydrocarbon mixture, oxidation of naphthene-paraffin hydrocarbons isolated from oil distillate T-46 in liquid phase with atmospheric oxygen in presence of salts of Mn- and Cr- natural petroleum acids as catalyst, taken in different concentrations, and their mixtures in different proportions. It has been established that the best results in the liquid-phase oxidation of naphthene-paraffin hydrocarbons isolated from a mixture of Azerbaijan oils of oil distillate T-46 are obtained in presence of Mn-salt of natural petroleum acids (NPA Mn) with concentration of 0.3 wt. %, with reaction duration of 5 hours, where yield of acids is 33–34 %. When using catalysts together, the best results are observed with a catalyst ratio of NPA Cr:NPA Mn - 3:1, with a reaction duration of 5 hours, where the yield of the acid mixture is 36.7 %. The composition of the synthesized synthetic petroleum acids obtained by liquid-phase oxidation of a mixture of naphthene-paraffin hydrocarbons isolated from the oil distillate of T-46, with atmospheric oxygen with the catalytic presence of NPA Mn, was confirmed by IR spectroscopy on an Alpha Fourier spectrometer manufactured by Bruker, Germany.
