Factors affecting the optimal global population
Against the backdrop of global population growth, this article explores the relevant issues of the optimal global population based on the analytical frameworks of average utilitarianism and total utilitarianism. This article analyzes the factors that affect the optimal population by combining specific data, events, processes, and methods. This includes the relationship between population growth and economic growth, social stability, and the impact of social norms, institutions, and policies on population policies. It is difficult to determine a globally recognized optimal population size under the influence of multiple factors. However, population stability can be achieved through rational use of resources, technological exploration, and inclusive economic growth. To achieve population stability, it is necessary to strengthen resource management, technological innovation, and international cooperation while respecting individual rights and avoiding the use of coercive policies.
