Research on the Carbon Accounting Training System in Universities under the "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals"
In the context of global climate change, carbon accounting has become a crucial tool in promoting the development of a low-carbon economy and achieving the "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals." However, the domestic talent development system for carbon accounting in China is still in its early stages, lacking systematic and targeted approaches. This paper addresses key issues in carbon accounting talent cultivation, exploring pathways through university-industry collaboration and interdisciplinary integration. By incorporating specialized training in areas such as carbon management, carbon finance, and carbon financial accounting, this model aims to cultivate interdisciplinary talents equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Additionally, the paper emphasizes the establishment of practical training platforms for finance-related talent to enhance students' professional skills and market adaptability in the low-carbon economy era. The proposed training system seeks to improve carbon accounting education, providing technical and talent support for businesses and the nation in achieving the "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals.".
