Preparation and Characterization of Ammonia Sensor Based on LaFeO3 Nanomaterial

With the acceleration of industrialization, air pollution is becoming increasingly serious. In order to ensure the normal and orderly production and life of human beings, it is urgent to quickly and accurately monitor harmful gases. Semiconductor gas sensors have been widely used in the field of gas detection. P -type semiconductor material LaFeO 3 has been widely studied for its excellent performance, but it still has some problems such as poor stability, narrow detection range and low response value. In this paper, LaFeO 3 nanomaterials were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS, and the properties of the samples were tested by intelligent gas sensing test system. The results show that LaFeO 3 nanomaterial sintered at 700 °C has the best performance, and the response value to 400 ppm NH 3 at 300 °=C reaches 22.56, the response/recovery time is 4.2 s/8.5 s, respectively, and has good repeatability and stability.
