Dual-port Output Non-isolated DC/DC Converter with Adaptive Inductor
In this paper, a non-isolated DC/DC converter with negative polarity input and two-port output is researched and designed based on the power amplifier (PA) in the RF front-end module of 5G communication. The converter is based on the traditional Buck-Boost converter with device-multiplexed two-port output, and an adaptive inductor is proposed, whose inductance value can be changed within a certain range with the change of current, which in turn improves the port voltage control flexibility. The article presents a modal analysis of the proposed converter and proposes an adaptive inductor to optimize the circuit. The principle of the adaptive inductor is analyzed and the correctness of the aforementioned analysis is verified by magnetic simulation and circuit simulation experiments.
