Improvement of Power Quality for Grid-PV Fed Water Pumping System
This paper presents a grid-connected water pumping system powered by a photovoltaic array with a bridgeless SEPIC PFC converter. The utility grid serves as a backup power source, sharing the full load with the PV array for continuous water pumping. Power sharing is regulated by a power factor-corrected bridgeless SEPIC converter, enhancing motor pump reliability. Using an FOPID controller improves power quality. The proposed system is simulated on mathematical computing platform (MATLAB/Simulink).
