An Investigation into Dynamic Routing Protocols in Aerial Communication Network
With the continuous development of China's aviation industry, aerial communication networks with large aircraft as backbone nodes now possess the capability to cover entire operational areas. However, practical challenges such as unstable communication links and dynamic changes in network topology exist within these networks. These factors pose significant challenges to the design of routing protocols. Traditional mobile ad hoc network (MANET) routing protocols perform poorly in aerial communication networks. By studying the dynamic routing protocol OSPF and using a general simulation platform for aerial communication networks, the paper planned combat scenarios, designed multiple network topologies, configured the OSPF protocol, and packet capture is used to analyze the results. The performance of the OSPF protocol in aerial communication networks is evaluated.
