Designing Optimal Control Systems for Ball and Plate Model
The paper investigates the core elements of the ball and plate model, including its mechanical framework, sensor systems, and control methodologies. It explores the dynamic behavior of the ball in response to changes in the plate's orientation, with a particular emphasis on stability, equilibrium, and nonlinear dynamics. The goal is to regulate the ball's position and trajectory using a PID controller enhanced by the Criminal Search Optimization (CSOA) meta-heuristic algorithm. The simulation of the envisioned system is conducted using LabVIEW©2019. Ultimately, the research outlines the design of a P I D controller for the ball and plate model and compares the expected results of the proposed controller with those of existing controllers.
