Considerationof Mutual Inductancefor Load Coil Embedded MRC-WPT System

Wireless power transfer using magnetic resonance coupling (MRC-WPT) has shown ingenious potential in recent past to be considered as an alternative of plug-in charging method. However, power transfer using typical two coil WPT system presents an enormous obstacle in terms of control and ease of use. Moreover, insignificant mutual coupling between the transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) coil restricts the transmission of large power. Hence, to prevail the widespread indistinctness and recognize the best suited one, a three-coil WPT method, also known as a load coil integrated unique technique, has been proposed. The equivalent circuit model analysis of the three-coil WPT system has been further considered to explicate the insight detail of the proposed system. Furthermore, the overall power transfer efficiency (PTE) and delivered load power at resonant frequency corresponds to varied air-gap between transmitter, receiver and load coil are calculated to outline the inclusive correlation between the operating parameters. This perception has been supported by both theoretical and simulation results and the outcomes are crucial for designing a load coil embedded threecoil MRC-WPT system.
