Design and Implementation of a Fuzzy-TID Approach for Frequency Monitoring of a Shipboard Microgrid
This paper aims to minimize the frequency dynamics of a shipboard microgrid under different uncertainty scenarios. In the modeling of the proposed microgrid, a few micro generating plants considered such as diesel generators, wind power generators, solar photovoltaic systems and ship water wave plant. The inherent dynamics of wind speed and solar radiation variance are the root cause of several power system instability problems, especially those pertaining to frequency and voltage instability. In this experiment, frequency instability issues are lessened by using a robust fuzzy-TID controller in the presence of many uncertainties. Furthermore, an intelligent Pelican Optimization Algorithm (POA) is used to extract the fine and object-oriented parameters of the fuzzy controller. To show the superiority of the suggested Fuzzy-TID controller and the POA method, a comparison analysis is carried out.
