Standard Image Encryption Strategies: A Comprehensive Overview
This research study provides a comprehensive analysis of established photo encryption techniques, keeping in mind the urgent requirement for strong security protocols in digital communication. This research investigates the efficacy of prominent encryption techniques, including RSA, Arnold’s Cat Map, Henon’s Chaotic Map, and Logistic Chaos Map, in safeguarding image data against unauthorized access and potential intrusions. Histograms, correlation coefficients, and adjacent pixel autocorrelation are examples of validation metrics that are used to comprehensively evaluate the performance of this algorithm. To assist stakeholders in the process of choosing appropriate encryption algorithms for specific use cases, the results shed light on the advantages and disadvantages of each methodology. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on cybersecurity and underscores the importance of employing strong encryption methods to protect sensitive information when transmitting images across unsecured public networks.
