On the Effectiveness of Rapid Antigen Test Kits in Measuring the Spread of SARS-CoV-2

This paper aims to evaluate the effectiveness of “Rapid Antigen Tests” -oropharyngeal, nasal, or salivary-in estimating the prevalence of the “SARS-CoV-2” virus during large prevention and monitoring campaigns conducted on asymptomatic people. The result is that these tests overestimate the prevalence of the virus when this is less than 4 percent.
