Multimodal Measurement System Development of Ultra-Low Field MRI and Magnetoencephalography with Optically Pumped Magnetometers
Low-field or ultra-low-field magnetic resonance imaging (LF-/ULF-MRI) does not require expensive superconducting coils. Therefore, LF-/ULF-MRI systems that use normally conducting magnets allow the static magnetic field to be switched on and off. As this feature allows various devices to be installed inside the LF-/ULF-MRI system, LF-/ULF-MRI is suitable for integration with other modalities.
