Mentor's Musings on Standards, Regulations & Policies Imperatives for Ethics & Governance of Artificial Intelligence
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (A/IS) use and impact become pervasive, we must establish societal and policy guidelines for such systems to re-main human-centric, serving humanity's values and ethical principles. These systems have to behave in a way that benefits people beyond reaching functional goals and addressing tech-nical problems. This will allow for an elevated level of trust between people and technology needed for its fruitful, pervasive use in our daily lives.
