Arthroscopic treatment of calcific tendinitis of the popliteal tendon: A case report
Calcification foci at the popliteal tendon are the main factors causing knee pain and dysfunction. Arthroscopic surgery to completely remove calcification foci at the popliteal tendon can achieve satisfactory clinical results. It has the advantages of less trauma, immediate pain relief, and rapid functional recovery. It is especially suitable for patients after conservative treatment has failed.
