Model experiment on the treatment effect of concrete cover plate for karst developed roadbed

In order to explore the treatment effect of concrete cover plates on karst roadbeds under karst development conditions, two comparative analysis models of karst roadbeds without prevention measures and with concrete cover plates were designed. The instability and failure laws of karst roadbeds under development conditions and the control effect of concrete cover plates on karst roadbed settlement were studied. Research has shown that the maximum displacement of karst roadbeds occurs at the top of the karst cave. With the continuous development of the karst cave, the displacement at the top of the cave increases, leading to settlement deformation of the roadbed surface and ultimately resulting in roadbed collapse; During the development of karst caves, the vertical soil pressure of the roadbed at positions 0cm and 10cm from the centerline decreases with the increase of cave span, while the vertical soil pressure of the roadbed at positions 20cm and 30cm from the centerline increases with the increase of cave span; Even with the continuous development of karst caves, the karst treatment effect of concrete cover plates is still very obvious.
