Beauty is Justice: Research on Stars Image Construction and Popularity Phenomenon Based on Korean K-POP Culture

Korean K-POP Culture, as a typical representative of contemporary Asian popular culture, has positive value for China in exploring the cultural industry and promoting cultural globalization. This paper analyzed the image construction of stars under the influence of Korean K-POP culture, based on participatory observation of the worship behavior of K-POP stars and their fans. Combined with the qualitative research method of participatory observation, the popularity phenomenon of Korean K-POP culture is well-analyzed. This paper revealed the role of appearance in promoting fans' idol worship. It depicted idol endorsements, opinion leaders, and other factors that have a positive effect on understanding the popularity of Korean K-POP culture.
