The Analysis of How Music Significantly Change the Course of History
Music is rarely considered a significant agent for changing the course of history. This paper will analyze how music has changed the course of history as a cause from social, political and economic perspectives. On a social level, music changes the course of history by inspiring empathy and igniting social movements. On a political level, music can change people's ideologies and trigger political movements that can change the face of the world. On the economic level, music can significantly promote economic growth, such as Woody Guthrie’s songs to encourage people to actively participate in the construction advocated by the New Deal. In conclusion, music affects the course of history with its broad and undeniable power, and whether it can promote the progress of the world positively depends on our actions.
