Attachment-based guardianship: An analysis of the causes of the phenomenon of Olympic fandom from the perspective of communication psychology

Affected much by the fandom, the athletes in the Paris Olympics 2024 met with cyberbullying in social media, when it comes to the fact that communication psychology takes a vital role in the relative analysis. This paper applied the ethnography research method as the main way to cope with the data collection and analysis, as it could deal with the social interaction analysis among the fan groups online. Through empirical research, it would be beneficial for further research on the fandom subculture study, as it could use the emotional attachment theory.
