The Model Construction of Curriculum Ideological and Political Competency of College Mental Health Teachers
The teacher is a key link in comprehensively promoting the construction of curriculum ideological and political. College mental health teachers urgently need to enhance their curriculum ideological and political competency in order to better play the main role of “psychological education” and “curriculum education”. A competency model was constructed based on grounded theory through in-depth interviews with 23 college mental health teachers. The results show that the college mental health teachers’ curriculum ideological and political competency model consists of four factors: consciousness, literacy, ability, and feeling. Based on the analysis results of grounded theory, the scale was developed to test the model. The scale consists of 17 items, with good reliability and validity, supporting the four-factor structure of the model. The model construction of college mental health teachers’ curriculum ideological and political competency enriches the study content of curriculum ideological and political competency, and promote the development of empirical study on curriculum ideological and political competency. This has important implications for strengthening the construction of college mental health teachers under the background of curriculum ideological and political.
