Firstly, the paper conducts an analysis on the necessity of reinforcing the construction of high-quality seafarers in the Midwestern Region. Secondly, it examines the issues that the current construction of high-quality seafarers in the Midwestern Region requires to enhance their professional sense of belonging and improve the service market of seafarers. Finally, from the perspectives of optimizing the all-round training of seafarers, enhancing the service efficiency of seafarers, improving the rights and interests protection system, the countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to fortify the construction of high-quality seafarers in the Midwestern Region, thereby further elevating the comprehensive competitiveness and social influence of seafarers in the Midwestern Region.
