COMPARATIVO DE GANHO DE ENERGIA FOTOVOLTAICA ENTRE SISTEMA DE RASTREAMENTO SOLAR USANDO ESP32 E SISTEMA FIXO

The present study analyzed the increase in energy capture efficiency with the application of the ESP32 microcontroller in the automation of photovoltaic systems focused on solar tracking. The study was conducted in Feira de Santana, BA, with measurements taken under predominantly sunny weather conditions. The objective was to compare the energy gain between fixed systems and solar trackers. For this, voltage and current data were collected from both systems using a multimeter, with measurements taken at regular intervals. The position of the tracker panels was automatically adjusted based on the azimuth and elevation angles of the Sun, calculated in real-time. The results showed that the solar tracking system presented a percentage gain of 37.9% compared to the fixed system, demonstrating higher efficiency in energy capture. It was concluded that the automation of the solar tracker contributed to increasing the consistency and efficiency in energy generation, especially under favorable solar incidence conditions.

The study was conducted in Feira de Santana, BA, with measurements taken under predominantly sunny weather conditions. The objective was to compare the energy gain between fixed systems and solar trackers.
