RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF REMOTE WORK ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

With the rapid development of technology and the impact of the global epidemic, remote work has become the new normal for many organizations. This study aims to explore the impact of remote work on employee performance and organizational culture and how organizations can effectively manage this new work model. Through a questionnaire survey of 500 remote workers from different industries and in-depth interviews with 20 human resource managers, this study found that remote work has a complex impact on employee performance. The results show that flexible work arrangements improve employee job satisfaction and productivity but also bring challenges to work-life balance and team collaboration. In addition, remote work has a significant impact on organizational culture, especially in terms of communication patterns, trust building, and employee belonging. Based on these findings, this study proposes a series of management strategies to help organizations maintain high performance and a positive organizational culture in a remote work environment. These findings provide valuable insights for understanding and managing the work environment in the post-epidemic era.
