New Efficient MIMO Systems Using CSI on the Transmitting Side

New efficient and simple multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems are presented, and a spatial signal is generated from each active antenna by transmitting base signals weighted by their coordinates. A four-dimensional biorthogonal constellation is proposed as a signal that represents an optimal surface constellation, and using it, the simplest option of MIMO is realized. The system uses perfect channel state information on the transmitting side. There are also cases of such use on the receiving side. For the Rayleigh fading channel, the computer simulation results are presented, which show the advantage of the considered systems compared to similar existing systems.

Abstract

New efficient and simple multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems are presented, and a spatial signal is generated from each active antenna by transmitting base signals weighted by their coordinates. A four-dimensional biorthogonal constellation is proposed as a signal that represents an optimal surface constellation, and using it, the simplest option of MIMO is realized. The system uses perfect channel state information on the transmitting side. There are also cases of such use on the receiving side. For the Rayleigh fading channel, the computer simulation results are presented, which show the advantage of the considered systems compared to similar existing systems.
