The paper examines the difficulties associated with maintaining field instruments utilised in different industries, which arise from their wide variety and operating conditions. Conventional maintenance approaches, such as reactive and preventive maintenance, possess inherent limitations. The study aims to examine the output pressure signal of I to P converters, which are utilised as actuators in pneumatic control valves, across various mounting positions. The process of collecting data in real-time is accomplished by utilising a pressure transmitter that is enabled with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The study analyses the output pressure using descriptive statistics. The I to P converter's performance is assessed using the control signal, output pressure.
