Live Demonstration: Wireless Power Transfer Schemes for Brain Machine Interfaces
This demonstration aims to provide visitors with hands-on experience to understand the impact of various Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) schemes on power transfer efficiency in implantable brain-computer interfaces (iBCIs) with mock-up LED-based receivers. The demonstration includes 2-coil, 3-coil, and 4-coil systems, as well as 2-coil systems with 1-layer or 2-layer resonators. Visitors will explore how different distances, alignments, orientations, and receiver sizes affect power transfer efficiency in various scenarios and solutions.
