Live Demonstration: YuPei: A Flexible, Wireless, Multi-Physiological Parameters Wearable Device for NICU
This demonstration showcases a flexible, wireless, multi-physiological parameters wearable prototype system designed for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The system comprises a wearable device made of flexible electronics, a personal computer, and a connected Bluetooth base station. The intelligent monitoring management software on the PC calculates and displays multiple physiological parameters by receiving data sent from the wearable device to the Bluetooth base station. Compared to traditional wired physiological monitoring probes, the proposed system offers a non-invasive, multi-parameter-in-one approach that maintains clinical accuracy and minimizes potential skin damage to newborns caused by cables and adhesive materials.
