TRANSIENT 3D MHD FLOW OF AN OLDROYD-B FLUID IN A POROUS MEDIUM

This article focuses on exact solutions of unsteady MHD 3D flow of an Oldroyd-B fluid in a porous medium by the traveling wave method. The system of nonlinear partial differential equations is transformed into ordinary differential equations using ε = ax + by + cz + Ut. The new kinds of exact traveling wave solutions are determined. The solutions of Maxwell fluid and Non-Newtonian fluid can be achieved by putting λ2 = 0 and λ1 = λ2 = 0, respectively and further the solutions for Oldroyd-B fluid with and without porous and MHD consequence can be found from common solutions in particular cases. Finally, the influence of the material and other parameters of the interest on the fluid motion as well as difference among the Oldroyd-B fluid is inspected by 2D and 3D graphical illustrations.
