Influence of media on the matured calcite-to-vaterite phase transformation in the presence of Symphytum officinale

The impact of Symphytum officinale on the transformation of mature calcite into vaterite in different environments is investigated. The resulting vaterite demonstrated excellent stability. This study closely simulates physiological conditions.
