INTELLIGENT COMPLEX MONITORING SYSTEM USING UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
In this paper, a structural-functional model of a high-level intelligent complex monitoring system, which performs ground and remote monitoring, has been developed to assess the condition of areas exposed to pollution as a result of various natural and anthropogenic effects. Since fuel-energy enter-prises are considered one of the most widespread pollution sources, and taking into account the fact that these enterprises cover large areas of land, the operational monitoring of these areas with their immediate surrounding natural environment and residential areas has always been an important and urgent issue. An intelligent complex monitoring system model has been developed to solve these issues. The intelligent system is characterized by the ability to control the power supply, navigation of the drone system, and the top-down measurement system. The intelligent integrated monitoring system based on ground measurements and remote measurements, allowing for assessment of the object’s condition has been proposed, and the effect of external factors and different technical characteristics on the monitoring system has been studied. The effect of UAVs’ ground and renewable power sources, flight altitude, and atmospheric effects on the results of top-down monitoring systems have been studied and solutions using Fuzzy Logic to reduce these negative effects have been developed. A simulation model to estimate these pollution levels has been built in the Matlab environment using Fuzzy Logic Designer, and based on the data obtained from the monitoring system, the system is capable of quick decision-making.
