Resilience Assessment of Nanjing Rail Transit Stations
The transportation system is an important part of the urban system, and the prosperity of the transportation system is the key to the prosperity of the city. In recent years, with the development and expansion of major cities in China, urban transportation systems have become increasingly complex, especially the rail transit system in the public transportation system. Resilience is often used in the field of transportation to evaluate the comprehensive capabilities of a system, such as resistance and resilience. Based on the concept of resilience, this paper examines various factors influencing passenger travel and assesses the capacity of urban rail transit networks to manage high passenger volumes. Using the Nanjing Metro as a case study, the paper introduces metrics for evaluating the service quality of rail transit stations and employs cluster analysis to categorize different stations. The findings indicate that the resilience of rail transit stations is correlated with passenger numbers and mean delays. Nanjing Metro Line 1 demonstrates the lowest resilience, primarily due to having the highest passenger count.
