RPA IMPLEMENTATION IMPACT FOR NUCLEAR INDUSTRY ORGANIZATIONS
Robotic process automation (RPA) has become a considerable part of corporate digital transformation with focus on corporate processes efficiency and productivity improvement. Authors consider the importance of RPA implementation, how to select and evaluate business processes as candidates for robotization and how to calculate effects from robotization. At given essay authors propose complex approach based on two scientific frameworks, including Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for RPA and robotic types model (initial, improved or smart). Business processes evaluation for robotization approach based on 5-dimension model (5D): benefits, technology readiness, usability, organization readiness and return on investment. Considered methodologies and frameworks have been assessed through their practical application at specific robotized process in Rosatom. Business process 2-NDFL reference generation has been taken for practical assessment. The business process was robotized in 2019, required 2.8 mln.Rub.for investment, resulted in crucial process time reduction from 24 hr. to 4.5 min. and provided 22.3 mln.Rub.of NPV and 3 months payback period.
